MIE ACEH WITH PRAWN RECIPE
There is so much we like about the typical culinary of Aceh. Uniquely, this one country seems to have its own uniqueness compared to various neighbors who actually have more Malay and Peranakan flavors.
One of them that is unique is the presence of fried Aceh noodles, a mixture of flavors from various cultures that is difficult to find in other countries.
INGREDIENTS :
- 500 gr noodles
- 150 gr prawns
- 100 gr beef, cut into small cubes
- 100 gr white cabbage, sliced
- 100 gr sprouts
- 1 tomato, cut lengthwise
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 spring onions, finely sliced
- 2 tbsp sweet soy sauce
- 4 cloves garlic, sliced
- 4 cloves of red onion, sliced
- Salt to taste
- Mushroom broth to taste
- 2 tbsp oil for frying
Ground spices:
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- 1/4 tsp anise
- 2 cardamoms
- 2 pecans
- 2 tbsp Indian curry powder
- 3 cloves of garlic
- 5 pieces of cayenne pepper
- 1 tbsp oil to grind the spices
HOW TO MAKE :
- Puree all the spices then add a little oil. Set aside.
- Saute onion and garlic, add shrimp and meat. Stir until it changes color.
- Add the ground spices and yellow noodles, mix well.
- Add bean sprouts, sweet soy sauce, salt and mushroom broth. Taste correction. Lift.
- Serve with topping on top.
