KUE CUCUR RECIPE (INDONESIAN TRADITIONAL DESSERT RECIPE)

Cucur cake is one of the very typical desserts from Indonesia, for now it's a bit difficult to find this cake. But you can actually make your own cucur cake at home with very simple ingredients.

Ingredients :

  • 250 gr rice flour 
  • 50 gr key flour 
  • 150 gr brown sugar 
  • 50 gr granulated sugar 
  • 400 ml vanilla and pandan water  
  • Coconut oil, for frying

HOW TO MAKE :

  1. Brown sugar, granulated sugar, water, vanilla, and pandan are cooked until boiling.
  2. Mix the rice flour and flour together.

  4. Using a vegetable spoon, stir constantly until bubbles form. Leave it for about two hours.
  5. Fry using oil and over medium heat while doused with oil so that the drippings come out.
  6. Lift briefly and reverse position. Cook until done. Serve.
