DADAR GULUNG "PANCAKE ROLLS WITH SWEET GRATED COCONUT"
There are many traditional Indonesian snacks and they are no less delicious than contemporary snacks. One of the snacks that many people like is pancake rolls.
This cake is fairly easy to make and the ingredients are also very cheap.
INGREDIENTS ;
- 250 grams grated coconut
- 125 grams brown sugar
- 250 grams of wheat flour
- Salt water to taste
- 3 drops of food coloring
HOW TO MAKE :
- Cook brown sugar with enough water until dissolved.
- Put grated coconut into the brown sugar solution, you should use young coconut to make it more delicious. Stir the coconut with the brown sugar solution until it dries.
- Let the mixture of shredded coconut and brown sugar come to room temperature
- Dissolve 250 grams of flour with 600 ml of water, add green food coloring, stir until smooth.
- Print the skin on non-stick Teflon (size according to taste). Don't cook the skin until it's dry, leave it still soft and elastic.
- Start the filling process by placing a teaspoon of brown sugar coconut on top of the cake, mashing it so that the filling is evenly distributed from end to end.
- Fold the skin like an envelope and roll it up. How to fold it exactly the same as risole or spring rolls. To make it easier to roll, you can use the help of a plastic mat.
