SOTO BANDUNG RECIPES
When the weather is cold,, a soupy meal will definitely be the menu to look forward to. One of the soup menus that can warm the body is soto. In this recipe, we will discuss the typical Bandung Soto. Soto Bandung has a clear sauce and is characterized by the presence of thin slices of radish in it and fried soybeans as a topping.
The basic ingredients used in this Soto Bandung are beef patties and special beef inside. Both of these parts are suitable to be cooked into soup because of their soft texture. The way to cook it is not difficult and the ingredients are easy to get to make this Soto Bandung can be one of your menu variations at home.

INGREDIENTS :
- Beef, cut into pieces - 500 grams
- Water - 2500 ml
- Radish, peeled - 2 pieces
- Kaffir lime leaves torn - 3 pieces
- Galangal - 3 cm
- Salt - 1 tsp
- Sugar - 1 tsp
- Pepper powder - 1/4 tsp
GROUND SPICES:
- Shallots - 5 cloves
- Garlic - 5 cloves
SUPPLEMENTARY MATERIAL:
- Soak soybeans for at least 2 hours then fry until dry - 50 grams
- Sliced scallions - to taste
- Sliced celery leaves - to taste
- Fried shallots - to taste
- Sweet soy sauce - to taste
- Lime - to taste
HOW TO COOK :
- Boil water until boiling.
- Enter the meat, let it boil and the dirt comes out, then discard the water.
- Bring the water back to a boil.
- Enter the ground spices that have been stir-fried, bay leaves, ginger, galangal, lime leaves and meat. Cook until meat is tender.
- Then add the radish, salt, sugar, and pepper, cook until the radish is cooked.
- Serve with accompaniments.
TIPS :
- Use special meat in order to be easily tender, also tetelan so that the soup is more savory in taste.
- Tear the lime leaves before use, so that they smell better.
