SASANDO FRIED CHICKEN RECIPE
Sasando fried chicken is a special dish from East Nusa Tenggara. You don't have to go far to try it, or even if you've already eaten it and want to eat sasando fried chicken.

INGREDIENTS :
- 800gr Chicken, cut accordingly
- 5 Garlic
- 2cm ah
- 2cm Turmeric
- 1/4 tsp Pepper powder
- 1 tbsp Salt
- 800ml Water
SAUCE:
- 6 Shallots
- 4 Garlic
- 5 big red chilies
- 1 Tomato
- 2cm Turmeric
- 1cm Galangal
- 1 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tsp Salt
- 100 ml thick coconut milk
HOW TO MAKE :
- Wash the chicken that has been cut into pieces, set aside.
- Puree garlic, ginger, turmeric, pepper, salt.
- Boil 800 ml of water, add chicken and spices. Boil until the chicken is tender and the water has reduced a little.
- Fry the chicken until golden brown, remove and drain. Fry it just enough to brown, it doesn't take too long to keep the chicken tender.
- Making the Sauce: Puree all sauce ingredients except coconut milk, then stir-fry until fragrant. Enter the coconut milk, cook, stirring occasionally, until the sauce is cooked and thickens.
- Serve the fried chicken with the sauce.
