Fried Bacem Chicken Recipe (Ayam Goreng Bacem)

INGREDIENTS :

  • 1 kg of chicken meat
  • 1 liter coconut water
  • 4 cm galangal, crushed
  • 4 bay leaves
  • 2 tablespoons oil for frying
  • 350 ml of oil for frying

Ground spices:
  • 6 cloves of garlic
  • 4 red onions
  • 1 teaspoon coriander powder
  • 3 cm fresh ginger
  • 1 teaspoon tamarind
Complementary:
  • 70 grams of brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1/3 teaspoon pepper powder
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • sweet soy sauce
HOW TO MAKE :
  1. Heat a little cooking oil, then fry the ground spices, galangal, and bay leaf.
  2. Pour the coconut water and all the complementary ingredients into the spice stir.
  3. Add the chicken pieces and mix well. After that close the pan and cook until the water runs out.
  4. Remove the ground chicken and drain.
  5. Heat a large amount of cooking oil, then fry the chicken bacem until the surface is dry.
