AMPARAN TATAK RECIPES (INDONESIAN DESSERT)

Banana is a tropical fruit that can be processed into a variety of delicious snacks. One of the traditional Kalimantan cakes that you can try to make with banana ingredients is called amparan tatak banana.

The taste that you can enjoy from this cake, which at first glance is similar to Nagasari, is sweet and soft. Of course, you can taste the taste of the traditional banana tatak cake easily because you can make it at home.

Ingredients:

  • 8 plantains
  • 200 grams of rice flour
  • 100 grams of sugar
  • 500 ml liquid coconut milk
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 2 pandan leaves

Top layer ingredients:

  • 70 grams of rice flour
  • 200 ml thick coconut milk
  • 1/2 tsp salt
HOW TO MAKE :

  1. First, make the bottom layer with ingredient B. First, cook the coconut milk until it's hot, add sugar, salt and kneaded pandan leaves and tie a knot. Keep stirring until dissolved. Lift.
  2. Combine rice flour and vanilla in a heatproof bowl.Pour the coconut milk while filtered into the flour, mix well until soft and smooth without lumps.
  3. Heat the steamer. Prepare a baking sheet, grease it with cooking oil. Pour the batter into the tin, leaving 1/3 of the batter. Cover and steam for 15 minutes.
  4. Mix 1/3 of the mixture with the plantain pieces. After steaming 15 minutes, open and pour the banana mixture. Cover again and steam for another 15 minutes.
  5. While waiting for the dough to be steamed, make the top layer with ingredient A.
  6. Combine all ingredients, mix well until there are no lumps.
  7. Strain into a saucepan, turn on the heat. Cook until bubbling and there are no lumps.Turn off the fire.
  8. Pour the mixture over the banana layer after it is cooked, steam again for another 15 minutes. Once the solid is cooked, turn off the heat, remove from the steamer and let cool.
  9. Remove from the mold and cut into pieces.
